Summer Updates and the Next Steps
This Summer '25 we Die Carz was launched and we want to talk about it, updates that we released and the upcoming plans.
Launch Results
Since launching the app, we’ve received tons of valuable feedback and great ideas we’re excited to implement. It’s amazing to see so many passionate collectors from all over the world!
A special thanks goes to our beta testers — without you, the product would be very different today.

Updates
We’ve already brought to you two major updates with big new features, plus lots of smaller improvements.
Collections
You can now tap on any car spec in a card to see a collection of cars with the same spec. This works for Casting, Rarity, Year/Case, and Series.
For example: If you have one Bone Shaker in your Garage and want to see all cars made with the same casting, just tap the car name. The app will show you a list of all Bone Shakers, including ones from previous years or with different rarities. At the top of the collection, you’ll see a counter showing how many of those cars are already in your Garage.
Explore
The new Explore section brings Username Search, Highlights, and Archive.
Username and Car Search
Find users by username or full name. For example, if your friend just installed the app and you want to follow their collection, enter their name and tap Follow.
Highlights
Few sliders with a fun stats and analytics:
- Hottest Car of the Month — The car added to the most Garages this month.
- Most Wanted Car of the Month — The car added to the most Wishlists.
- Hottest Garage of the Month — The fastest-growing collection this month.
- Most Wanted Car Ever — No comments.
- Most Collected Car Ever — Fun fact: everyone seems to love that Miata.
Archive
Collections organized by Year and Rarity. Easily check the full list of current STHs or browse the 2023 RLCs. Handy for quick rarity lookups.
Minor Cool Features
- Quick Actions on iOS: Long-press the app icon to access shortcuts to the most useful features.
- Sort Garage by Car Name: Sort your Garage or Wishlist alphabetically.
- Swipe Down to Refresh Profile: Stay up to date in any profile section with a simple pull-down refresh.
- Card Length Memory: After adding a mainline card, the app remembers your last card length choice and applies it automatically next time.

In the next few updates, we’re bringing:
- Posts with User's Photos and Custom Notes
- Community Database contributions
- And more exciting features!
By the end of this year, our goal is to shape the core of Die Carz, a platform where you can collect, share, and connect with fellow collectors.
